Presenting the "Called on to Holiness" document, the Archbishop of
Zagreb and president of the Croatian Bishops' Conference, Josip
Bozanic, told reporters it should be understood that the Croatian
people feels hurt.
The present moment calls for a lot of wisdom and prudence to prevent
some unguarded statement or action from harming the common good,
said the Archbishop.
Bozanic stressed that those currently leading the state had a great
deal of responsibility. All available legal means should be used to
explain Croatia's current political situation, he said.
Those in authority have to be brave, determined and wise, Bozanic
said, calling on the faithful to pray to God for their people and the
fast solving of their problems.
