public relations office said in a statement Monday. #L#
It is good that Croatia has passed a Constitutional Law on
cooperation with the Hague-based international war crimes
tribunal, because it provides the opportunity to see whether the
indictment is in line with the Croatian Constitution, Racan
concluded, asking for understanding for not being able to discuss
all concrete government moves.
The prime minister said the government, aware of the gravity of the
situation, would act responsibly, sensibly and resolutely,
persisting on the main principles of the fairness and legitimacy of
the Homeland War and military operations it would be defending, as
it had been hitherto.
The public relations office said that "taking into consideration
the seriousness of the situation, representatives of the
coordinating body voiced their full support to the government's
efforts in defending the Homeland War as fair, correct and just, as
well as to the struggle for General Bobetko.
