The amendments were endorsed by MPs of the ruling coalition and the
Croatian Party of Rights/Croatian Christian Democratic Union
(HSP/HKDU) bench. The other opposition parties were against the
amendments, which will be voted on tomorrow.
The personal identification number or medical data cannot be stated
on the I.D. due to possible abuse, said Deputy Interior Minister
Josip Vresk.
Also today, parliament debated final bills on the ratification of
the European anti-terrorist convention, the convention on European
landscapes, and a free trade agreement between Croatia and Turkey.
Voting is tomorrow.
