For the first time after the war in Bosnia, Pavle arrived in
Sarajevo on Friday to personally participate in the transfer of
remains of a former Bosnian metropolitan, Vladislav, who died in
1992 and whose last wish was to be buried in Sarajevo.
The liturgy and laying of the remains was attended by the most
senior Bosnian Serb officials, including a member of the Bosnian
Presidency, Zivko Radisic, the chairman of the Council of
Ministers, Dragan Mikerevic, and Republika Srpska President Mirko
Sarovic.
Pavle did not hold official talks with representatives of Bosnian
government bodies.
