ZAGREB, Sept 6 (Hina) - Croatian Justice Minister Ingrid Anticevic-Marinovic on Friday departed for the United States where she will attend the first assembly of states parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court
(ICC), taking place in New York on Sept. 3-11, the Justice Ministry said in a statement.
ZAGREB, Sept 6 (Hina) - Croatian Justice Minister Ingrid Anticevic-
Marinovic on Friday departed for the United States where she will
attend the first assembly of states parties to the Rome Statute of
the International Criminal Court (ICC), taking place in New York on
Sept. 3-11, the Justice Ministry said in a statement. #L#
Anticevic-Marinovic will address the assembly on Sept. 9.
Attendance of the conference is of great importance as Croatia was
among the first to ratify the Rome Statute, read the statement.
Croatia is a candidate for membership in the Statute's Bureau and
might propose its representative for a judge of the ICC, the
statement concluded.
