ZAGREB, Sept 5 (Hina) - The number of industrial workers in Croatia dropped in July by 0.2 percent compared to the month before and by 4.3 percent compared to last July, the State Bureau of Statistics reported.

Labour productivity between January and July this year increased by
seven percent in relation to the same time last year.
The number of workers in the mining sector in July dropped by 1.7
percent, while in the processing and power, water and gas supply
industries it decreased by 0.1 and 0.5 percent respectively.
Labour productivity in the processing industry, which accounts for
87.11 percent of the country's overall industry, rose by seven
percent.
The recycling industry saw the highest increase in the number of
employees of all processing industry sectors - 6.8 percent. The
number of workers in the food and drinks industry rose by 2.2
percent and in the textile industry it dropped by 0.8 percent.
The number of workers in the production of radio and television sets
and communication equipment plunged the most - by 5.2 percent.
