ZAGREB, Sept 4 (Hina) - The Croatian electrical industries concern Koncar made 688.1 million kuna (EUR93 million) in revenue in this year's first six months, which was 17 percent more than at the same time last year, Koncar said on

Sales on the domestic market generated 383.6 million kuna (EUR51.8
million), which accounted for 56 percent of total sales and
represented a 19.5 percent increase as against the first half of
2001, while sales abroad generated 304.4 million kuna (EUR41.1
million), a growth of 14 percent.
Koncar generates its biggest sales in central and eastern Europe,
i.e. 51 percent of total sales, and the European Union markets (26
percent).
The concern's biggest exporter is the Distribution and Special
Transformer section, which accounts for a 70-percent sales share.
In this year's first six months, Koncar contracted 1.15 billion
kuna (EUR155.4 million) worth of new ventures.
