PULA, Sept 2 (Hina) - A member of parliament and president of the Istrian branch of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS), Jadranka Katarincic Skrlj, said in Pula on Monday that "the chaos which has been reigning in Piran Bay for
some time now was not caused by fishermen, but politicians and the dysfunctional Croatian authorities". She called on Prime Minister Ivica Racan to resign.
PULA, Sept 2 (Hina) - A member of parliament and president of the
Istrian branch of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS),
Jadranka Katarincic Skrlj, said in Pula on Monday that "the chaos
which has been reigning in Piran Bay for some time now was not caused
by fishermen, but politicians and the dysfunctional Croatian
authorities".
She called on Prime Minister Ivica Racan to resign. #L#
Katarincic Skrlj also called on Racan and the government to inform
their Slovene colleagues as soon as possible that they were giving
up on the initialled border agreement and pre-empt possible damage
in case of international arbitration.
Katarincic Skrlj urged Racan to "resign due to his wrong foreign
policy," thus expressing support for the same request made by HSLS
president Drazen Budisa and some other opposition leaders in the
past several days.
