PRISTINA, Aug 31 (Hina) - Police of the United Nations's peace-keeping mission to Kosovo, UNMIK, reported on Saturday that grenades had been thrown at the Bosniak part of Kosovska Mitrovica and one Serb house. Fortunately, the
explosions only caused material damage.

International police said that unknown assailants threw a hand
grenade into the yard of an Albanian house and on the house of a Serb
national.
The recent incident occurred ahead of a ceremony planned for
Saturday night when the UN civilian administrator to Kosovo,
Michael Steiner, will open a cultural centre in the town, intended
for the socialising of youth of all ethnic communities.
