Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ BH) has accused Croatia's national
television (HRT) of being biased and not objective in its coverage
of political events in Bosnia-Herzegovina. #L#
The coalition, which also includes the Croatian Democratic
Christians and the Croatian People's Union, today forwarded a note
to HRT editor-in-chief Jasna Ulaga-Valic protesting a feature in
today's "Mir i dobro" show which, according to the coalition,
promoted the With Work to Well-Being party.
The coalition stated that the party was not Croatian, as presented
in the feature, but multiethnic, with more Muslim and Serb than
Croat members.
With Work to Well-Being was founded by Jerko and Mladen Ivankovic,
owners of the Bosnian meat-packing company Lijanovici.
A similar protest was forwarded to Bosnian Federation's television
over a commercial for Lijanovici, which the coalition says
constitutes a violation of the Bosnian electoral law. Mladen
Ivankovic is the With Work to Well-Being candidate for the Bosnian
state presidency.
