The UNMIK said that it regrets the statement issued by the Kosovo
government at yesterday's session which implies that the arrests
were politically motivated.
The arrests were carried out in line with the UN Security Council
Resolution 1244, and in accordance with the expectations of the
people of Kosovo to establish a rule of law without any political
background, the UNMIK said.
