ZAGREB HOSPITAL BEGINS PERFORMING SURGERY ON CARDIAC PATIENTS

ZAGREB, Aug 6 (Hina) - Croatian and British surgeons on Tuesday began diagnostics and surgeries on very ill cardiac patients at Zagreb's "Dubrava" hospital. #L# Surgeries on some 30 to 40 patients with complex heart ailments will be carried out until the end of the week in a new hospital ward, the head of the hospital's institute for cardiac illnesses, Mijo Bergovec, said. Experts from Great Britain will exchange experiences with the Zagreb hospital's experts in performing complex heart surgeries, Bergovec said.
