The government also passed a decision on making a deal with 2,852
debtors who owe 428,437,582.37 kuna.
The government issued collateral to Zagrebacka bank for the re-
financing of loan obligations of the town of St. Ivan Zelina towards
Kaertner Landes und Hypothekenbank AG from Klagenfurt, worth
EUR2,710,000. It also issued collateral to Privredna bank for the
re-financing of loan obligations of the town of Krizevci towards
Kaertner Landes und Hypothekenbank AG from Klagenfurt, worth
eur1,724,345.22.
The government okayed a loan agreement between the Croatian
Highways and a group of banks (Bank Austria Aktiengesellschaft,
Bayerische Landesbank Girozentrale and Privredna banka Zagreb
d.d., Zagreb) and state collateral to a group of banks for the
financing of the works on Bosiljevo-Split and Zagreb-Gorican
highways, worth EUR150,000,000.
The government issued collateral to Privredna Bank or the Croatian
Bank for the Reconstruction and Development for the monitoring of
the financing of the construction in the Uljanik shipyard, worth
US$34,200,000.
The government endorsed a conclusion on the expansion of the system
of crossing the state border with identification cards or other
documents with a photograph with certain European countries.
Also endorsed were conclusions regarding an agreement on legal and
financial proceedings and standards of the logistic support - ACSA
- between the Croatian Defence Ministry and the US Department of
Defence.
At its closed session, the government also adopted a report on
negotiations on amending a Croatian-Bosnian agreement on
encouraging and protecting investments and a report on
international instruments adopted at the 85th session of the
General Conference of the International Organisation in Geneva in
June 1997.
The government also decided to initiate negotiations on an
agreement with Bulgaria on the re-admission of illegal migrants.
