MOSTAR MOSTAR, July 9 (Hina) - The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Beriz Belkic, opened a symposium and multimedia workshop, called "Mostar 2004", at the Centre for Culture in the southern city of Mostar on Tuesday.
This year's event links four cities - Mostar, Dubrovnik, Split, and Sarajevo.

Herzegovina, Beriz Belkic, opened a symposium and multimedia
workshop, called "Mostar 2004", at the Centre for Culture in the
southern city of Mostar on Tuesday. This year's event links four
cities - Mostar, Dubrovnik, Split, and Sarajevo. #L#
"As much as it is important to implement constitutional, legal, and
economic reforms, it is even more important to reform human
awareness and state clearly that a multiethnic, multireligious,
and multicultural community is an advantage and not a reason for
destruction," Belkic said at the ceremony.
Participants in the event, which is to last several days, will
discuss the restoration of cultural and historical monuments and
architectural solutions in historical city areas. Students and
professors from 17 countries will discuss the reconstruction of
Mostar's Old Bridge and its historical core as well as the
reconstruction of facilities that are important for all three
national communities in the city.
