"We talked about bolstering cooperation, and Prevlaka, of course.
We want to demilitarise this area and transform it into a tourist
paradise, and we can do that only if we attract the foreign capital
that would help us with that," Mesic said after the talks which were
held on the margins of the 13th Crans Montana business-political
forum.
Mesic applauded the development of democracy in Montenegro which,
he said, was making big progress.
The Montenegrin PM welcomed the mutual wish to strengthen good
neighbourly relations. Prevlaka should become a "tourist paradise
which will connect and not separate us," he said.
Asked how a lawsuit filed against President Milo Djukanovic in
Italy was affecting the development of democracy and the situation
in Montenegro, Vujanovic said the accusations were unfounded and
political, aimed at interfering with Montenegro's internal
political issues.
The case has no impact on the democratisation of society, he said.
The Italian judiciary has launched an investigation into cigarette
smuggling which includes the Montenegrin head of state.
