Of a total of 938 registered films, 85 from 27 countries will be
shown in the official competition.
The festival will be opened with the presentation of a life
achievement award to Dutch animated-film maker Paul Driessen and an
award for the contribution to the theory of animated-film
production to Italian critic and animated film historian
Giannalberto Bendazzi.
The festival closes on June 23.
