for the members of the first presidency of the then Socialist Republic of Croatia, elected following the first democratic election, convened at the first multi-party Croatian Sabor (parliament) on May 30, 1990. The President's guests included Academic Dusan Bilandzic, Academic Dalibor Brozovic, Josip Manolic, Antun Vrdoljak and Milojko Vuckovic while Kresimir Balenovic - also a member of that presidency - excused himself. At that first session of the first multi-party Croatian Sabor of the Socialist Republic of Croatia, the first president of the presidency to be appointed was Franjo Tudjman.
