ZAGREB, June 3 (Hina) - Croatian companies participating in the UNIDO project of Transferring Environmentally Safe Technology (TEST) in the Danube river basin, which is being implemented by five countries, on Monday received a
certificate on the successful completion of the first phase of the project.

UNIDO project of Transferring Environmentally Safe Technology
(TEST) in the Danube river basin, which is being implemented by five
countries, on Monday received a certificate on the successful
completion of the first phase of the project.#L#
The project encompasses four Croatian companies - a city pound
involved with the management of animal waste collected at the
"Agroproteinka" slaughter house; a leading pesticide company from
Sisak - "Herbos"; and the IPK sugar factory in Osijek. Gavrilovic
may withdraw from the project, Ivana Hall from the Economy Ministry
said.
The five countries along the Danube - Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia,
Bulgaria and Rumania have nominated four companies each for the
two-year project. The project commenced in Croatia in June, last
year and the value of the project of $US130,000 is being financed
entirely by UNIDO.
