ZAGREB, May 22 (Hina) - Austrian President Thomas Klestil arrived in Zagreb on Wednesday, for a three-day official visit to Croatia, at the invitation of Croatian President Stjepan Mesic.

in Zagreb on Wednesday, for a three-day official visit to Croatia,
at the invitation of Croatian President Stjepan Mesic.#L#
The Austrian President is accompanied by his wife Margot Klestil-
Loffler.
Immediately upon the arrival, the Austrian President started talks
with his host Mesic, after which the two countries' official
delegations will meet.
President Knistel will also meet Prime Minister Ivica Racan and
other senior officials to discuss the continuation of the
strengthening of the overall bilateral relations, particularly
economic, the situation in the region and Croatia's approaching the
European Union.
The Austrian state delegation also includes federal minister for
economy and labour Martin Bartenstein and federal minister for
transport, innovations and technology Mathias Reichhold. A group
of Austrian businessmen, led by the president of the Austrian
Chamber of Commerce, Adolf Moser, is also expected to arrive in
Croatia.
During the visit, minister Bartenstein will hold talks with
Croatian vice premier Slavko Linic. Croatian Environmental
Protection and Zoning Minister Bozo Kovacevic will receive
Austrian businessmen.
During the visit, the Croatian-Austrian Economic Forum will be
held. On the last day of his visit to Croatia, the Austrian
President will visit the northern Adriatic archipelago of
Brijuni.
