Minister Vladimir Strugar and the president of the Independent Union of Employees in Secondary Schools, Andrija Puljevic, on Tuesday evening initialled a branch collective agreement, and called on teachers and pupils to return to schools tomorrow. This marks the end of a two-day strike of secondary school teachers. A decision to that effect should be confirmed by the union's central committee in the morning, said Puljevic. The branch collective agreement should be signed in a fortnight, it was announced. The agreement will need to be signed by the minority "Preporod" union as well, said Strugar.
