The SFOR's decision to consciously arrive in Dubrovnik on May 18 and
depart on May 19 violating clear directives by a host country,
unnecessarily threatens our fruitful co-operation which has
existed since the signing of the Dayton Agreement without which
there could not be a succesful mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina, said
a statement issued by the Ministry on Monday.
The statement announces that an "official protest" would be
forwarded to the SFOR immediately along with a request for an
explanation of such behaviour.
The SFOR liaison office in Croatia on May 17, reported that SFOR
despite directives by Croatia would land on the field in Gospino
polje as this was necessary due to "security reasons".
