At a recent assembly, the Alliance adopted a decision to protest
until the controversial provision of the Income Tax Law is put out
of force and do everything in its power to see it abolished, the
president of the Alliance's central committee, Mladen Stajduhar,
told journalists at a press conference on Friday.
"It is immoral to speak about 'privileges' gained on the death of
one's own child. Claims that these pensions were realised under
favourable conditions are unacceptable," the Alliance's president
Mario Marot said. He announced that members of the Alliance, which
has over 10,000 members, would take to the streets if the matter was
not resolved in a different way.
