Stjepan Mesic met the president of the Strasbourg-based European Court for Human Rights, Luzius Wildhaber, in Zagreb on Friday. The two sides discussed the reform of the Croatian judicial system and the country's cooperation with the Court and its important role in the democratisation of countries in transition and the establishment of the rule of law. Wildhaber was also received by the chairman of the parliamentary Justice Committee, Luka Trconjic, and the chairman of the Committee on Human Rights and National Minorities, Furio Radin.
