RIJEKA: BOOK ABOUT IMPROVISED ARMOURED VEHICLES PRESENTED

RIJEKA, April 4 (Hina) - The book and photo-album "Improvizirana oklopna vozila 1991-1995/Croatian Improvized AFVs 1991-1995" by Vojislav Jereb and Dr David Spencer (US expert on makeshift armoured vehicles) was presented at Rijeka's 'Bonavia' hotel on Thursday. #L# The second edition in the bilingual library "Hrvatska ratna povijest" (Croatian War History) by the Rijeka publishers "Digital Point" and "Adamic", the book presents a set of improvisations in the design and manufacture of different types of armoured vehicles in the first years of the Homeland War. The book covers the whole of Croatia and includes more than 250 photos which bear witness to resourcefulness in the construction of offensive armoured vehicles and their use in combat. (hina) sb rml
