This year more than 400 million kuna has been collected for de-
mining purposes from budgetary funds, donations by public
companies, and a World Bank loan, Gorseta said, adding that part of
the border with Hungary in Baranja would be demined with European
Union funds.
Donations have been increasing significantly in relation to
budgetary allocations, he said.
It is estimated that 1,700 square kilometres of land in Croatia are
mine-infested, of which 102 square kilometres are in Osijek-
Baranja County, Gorseta said.
