OSIJEK, March 14 (Hina) - The Osijek County State Prosecutor's Office has filed a request with the County Court for an investigation into three people suspected of abusing their offices and assisting in the same in the privatisation
of the "Glas Slavonije" media centre in 1993. The probe was requested for Ivan Simic, the then Glas Slavonija company's director, MP Branimir Glavas who was at the time the company's management board chairman, and Petar Kljajic, Osijek County Court investigative judge and former president of the National Shareholders Association's (NDU) Assembly. The NDU allegedly obtained 1.51 German marks through illegal transactions, Osijek-Baranja County police said. Zelimir Mestrovic, former NDU president, has been left out of the investigative proceedings, since he recently committed suicide, the Prosecution reported. The probe was requested for Ivan Simic, the then Glas Slavonija
