ZAGREB, March 13 (Hina) - A large number of faithful have since the early morning hours on Thursday been paying their respects to Cardinal Franjo Kuharic, whose body is laid at the St. Stephen Chapel in Zagreb. Many delegations,
students, politicians, including the president of Social Liberals, Drazen Budisa, MP Djurdja Adlesic, two dozen Croatian Democratic Union MPs and a delegation of the American Caritas, waited in the long line to pay their respects. General Ante Gotovina's wreath was laid behind Kuharic's bier in the chapel at noon. Wreaths were also laid by Nenad Ivankovic, Gotovina's brother Boro, and General Mijo Zlatan Jelic. Zagreb's Archbishop Josip Bozanic is still receiving letters of condolence, including those from the head of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Simeon.
