NOVIGRAD, March 12 (Hina) - About a hundred fishing boats sailed in the northern Adriatic town of Novigrad on Tuesday protesting against a Croatia-Slovenia cross border agreement. Fishermen from Istria said the agreement is
unacceptable. The protesters told reporters they are concerned about the fate of 200 fisherman from Istria due to overfishing by Slovenia's fishermen. By receiving "blank licences", Slovenes will be able to fish in the Croatian waters all the way to Limnski Kanal without being controlled, Croatian fishermen said.
