SPLIT, March 2 (Hina) - Split-Dalmatia police reported today that they arrested two Slovaks near Makarska on Friday morning. Vladimir F., born 1952, and Marijan S., born 1959, were apprehended pursuant to an Interpol arrest warrant
issued for fraud and financial engineering, gaining them between 200 and 300 million dollars, Police reports they confiscated their two yachts and two personal vehicles. A Split County Court judge has placed them in custody for 30 days, and the proceedings to have them extradited to Slovakia are underway, Split-Dalmatia police spokesman Leon Tauber, said on Saturday.(hina) lml
