BRATISLAVA, Feb 28 (Hina) - Slovakia completely supports Croatia's admission to the CEFTA and close cooperation with the Visegrad Group countries, Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula told Croatian reporters in Bratislava after
meeting Slovakian Prime Minister Mikulas Dzurinda on Thursday. One of the main topics of the meeting was cooperation in a whole series of Central European initiatives, which the two officials agreed was not being taken full advantage of. "We considered in which ways Slovakia, as a more advanced transitional country, can help Croatia in dealing with Euro-Atlantic issues," said Picula. He added he expected Croatia would join the Membership Action Plan, a condition for accessing NATO, this summer, and that Slovakia, which might join NATO in November, would fully support Croatia's admission.(hina) ha sb
