ZAGREB, Feb 26 (Hina) - The Executive Council of the Social Liberals (HSLS), the second strongest party in the ruling coalition, should convene on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the performance of the party's ministers in the government
and the possible replacement of some government members from the HSLS ranks. Sources at the party have said the HSLS will urge, at any cost, Prime Minister Ivica Racan and the coalition partners to appoint party president Drazen Budisa to the office of deputy prime minister, currently held by Goran Granic. Unofficial sources say the HSLS is increasingly willing to abandon its initial request for the ousting of Granic from the government. Granic should be appointed to an office held by another HSLS minister, most probably that of economy minister.
