ZAGREB, Feb 14 (Hina) - The speaker of the Bosnian parliament's House of Peoples, Ivo Komsic, on Thursday confirmed in an interview that the former chairman of the Bosnian Presidency, Alija Izetbegovic, had offered Western Herzegovina
to the then Croatian president Franjo Tudjman. IN an interview to the Croatian Radio, Komsic said Izetbegovic did not directly offer this to Tudjman, but was a mediator in negotiations. The head of the UN Mission to Bosnia, Jacques Klein, recently said Alija Izetbegovic had at one time offered Western Herzegovina to Tudjman.
