LJUBLJANA, Jan 30 (Hina) - Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel
failed on Wednesday to convince Bosnian authorities to cease
blocking Slovene cisterns with fuel on the border between Croatia
and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
"I am not fully satisfied with their explanation, because Slovene
trucks are still waiting on the border because of the dispute
between Croatian and Bosnian authorities concerning the
contentious decree on the transit of oil and oil products through
Croatia," Rupel told the Slovene Radio after talks with the
chairman of the Bosnian Council of Ministers, Zlatko Lagumdzija.
Rupel said the relations between Slovenia and Bosnia are good and
without open issues, but he did stress the need for the signing of a
property rights agreement on the protection of Slovene property in
Bosnia. The Bosnian parliament called for the ratification of an
agreement on free trade which has been valid since the beginning of
the year.
