ZAGREB, Jan 18 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Friday met with the world's leading forensic expert, Henry Lee, whom he thanked for his contribution to the development of forensic science in Croatia. Addressing reporters
after the meeting, Lee said he was impressed with Mesic's knowledge of forensic science and police work. Lee, who is the head of the Forensic Science Institute of the state police of Connecticut, said the institute would continue providing assistance to young people from Croatia who are studying forensic science or want to study it at US universities. Cooperation between US and Croatian forensic experts has resulted in the joint organisation of three seminars, Lee said, adding he would organise a conference in Zagreb in two years.
