MOSTAR TO ELECT NEW MAYOR MOSTAR, Jan 16 (Hina) - The Office of the High Representative (OHR) in Mostar on Wednesday called on the city's municipality Southwest (with a dominant Croat population) to elect a new mayor as soon as
possible. High Representative to Bosnia-Herzegovina Wolfgang Petritsch on Tuesday dismissed Mayor Ivan Mandic and forbade him to take up any public political office. Spokeswoman for the OHR in Mostar, Avis Benes, told Wednesday's news conference that Mandic had ignored several calls by the international community for him to apply property laws.
