SARAJEVO, Jan 10 (Hina) - Two former senior Bosnian Muslim military and police officials are the organisers of a big chain of weapon smuggling that ran from Bosnia to Kosovo and Macedonia, the Sarajevo daily Oslobodjenje said on
Thursday. The paper claims that Kemal Ademovic, the recently replaced director of the Investigation and Documentation Agency (AID), the Bosnian Muslim secret service, and Hasan Cengic, a former Bosnian Federation deputy defence minister, are at the helm of two separate weapon smuggling chains. Oslobodjenje quotes as its source an unnamed person close to a special United States team for the prevention of weapon smuggling from Bosnia and Herzegovina. This team was allegedly set up as part of international anti-terrorist measures.
