ZAGREB, Jan 4 (Hina) - The Patriarch of the Serb Orthodox Church in Croatia, Pavle, forwarded a Christmas message to believers Friday, which will be read on ceremonious Christmas liturgies on January 7, Christmas according to the
Julian calendar. "The joy brought by a holiday of the little Jesus's birth is this year also tainted by hatred which sweeps insecurity, terrorism and revenge over the entire world," the patriarch's message contained. The Patriarch called on believers to follow the path of Saint Sava, the protector of the Orthodox Church, as it is "the path of unity, harmony and the spiritual renaissance of the Orthodox, particularly Serb people." The metropolitan of Zagreb, Ljubljana and Italy, Jovan, also forwarded a Christmas message to all Orthodox believers.(hina) np sb
