The preparatory meeting will discuss progress in the transfer of
authority and the future work of the government, Croatian Democratic
Union (HDZ) spokesman Ratko Macek said on Sunday.
Reduction of Value Added Tax is expected to be on the agenda of the
first government session as announced by Prime Minister Ivo Sanader.
This is Croatia's eighth government since it gained independence from
the former Yugoslav federation. It consists of 14 ministries, five
less than the previous government.
