ZAGREB, Dec 10 (Hina) - The Croatian Bishops Conference's (HBK) Media Council held a regular session in Zagreb on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Rijeka Archbishop Ivan Devcic, who addressed the new programme scheme of Croatian
Television (HTV), saying it offered considerably less religious programmes.

Media Council held a regular session in Zagreb on Wednesday under
the chairmanship of Rijeka Archbishop Ivan Devcic, who addressed
the new programme scheme of Croatian Television (HTV), saying it
offered considerably less religious programmes. #L#
The Catholic Press Agency (IKA) reported that the editor of the
HTV's religion department, Tonci Trstenjak, had said that next
year's programme scheme was not in line with the agreement between
the HBK and the HTV. He also voiced concern over the "ghettoisation"
of the religion programme on Channel 2 and the inappropriate
schedule of some programmes.
