HDZ spokesman Ratko Macek told Hina on Tuesday that the talks were
going according to plan and his party was ready for cooperation with
all parties of this orientation, from the Peasant Party (HSS) to the
Pensioners' Party (HSU).
Macek added that representatives of ethnic minorities had already
been contacted.
The HDZ presidency held a session today at which it was said that the
election results had confirmed the party's credibility and the
decision of the electorate that the HDZ should form a new government
and lead Croatia into the European Union, Macek said.
