Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) leader Anto Djapic said the HSP had
committed no offence against the Croatian people. He reiterated the
party's familiar positions and concluded that the HSP had shown
that it was capable of transforming itself.
Independent candidate in constituency no. 1 Vesna Kanizaj and
independent candidate Branko Stojkovic said they would advocate
workers' rights.
Aleksandra Ivankovic presented the platform of Greens - Party of
the New Age, stressing she advocated an economy based on
sustainable development.
Petar Vucinovic, an independent candidate of the Serb minority and
member of the Association of Returnees, called on Serb refugees to
return to pre-war homes, pledging he would fight for their rights.
The Croatian Peasant Party candidate for the Hungarian minority,
Emma Rauchar, said she would advocate double voting rights for
ethnic minorities.
An independent candidate for the Russian and Ukrainian minorities,
Slavko Burda, said he would advocate the protection of minorities
and their rights. He stressed he would advocate the rights of the
Roma.
Tomislav Bogdanic presented the platform of Croatian Republicans.
He promised radical changes as well as a safe, just, national and
civic republic.
Zlatko Canjuga presented the platform of Croatian Independent
Democrats.
Slavko Vuksic presented the platform of the Party of Croatian
Plains, which is running in constituencies nos. 4 and 5. Like other
candidates from Slavonia, he feels the development of this eastern
Croatian region has been neglected. He promised more focus on the
development of agriculture and food-processing.
