SLAVONSKI BROD, Nov 15 (Hina) - The incumbent government will last

Drazen Budisa said on Saturday. #L#
Speaking in Slavonski Brod at the main pre-election rally of the
HSLS-Democratic Centre (DC) coalition for constituency no. 5,
Budisa said the coalition was a new political force with a clear
political and social orientation, a new economic programme,
democratic and pro-European.
The coalition is free of any form of political radicalism or
extremism and will be able to turn Croatia into a country worthy of
the sacrifice invested in it, he said.
DC leader Mate Granic said the coalition advocated restricting
government intervention. "No one will lead our economic platform,
neither domestic nor international lobbies nor international
financial institutions. It will be led by the new Croatian
government, whose character will be determined by the HSLS-DC
coalition."
The coalition will reform the agriculture, create the proper
business climate and reduce taxes so as to increase exports, reduce
imports, and employ people, said Granic.
The HSLS-DC slate in constituency no. 5 is headed by the DC's Vesna
Skare-Ozbolt.
