ZAGREB, Nov 15 (Hina) - There are 4,372,631 constituents eligible to vote in Croatia's November 23 parliamentary election, which is about 200,000 more that at the last parliamentary ballot in January 2000, the justice ministry said on
Saturday.

According to lists compiled by county state administration offices
today, there are 3,972,631 voters with residence in Croatia and
399,849 Croatian citizens residing abroad.
There were 4,177,861 eligible voters for the 2000 parliamentary
polls, including 3,827,489 residing in Croatia and 350,372
residing abroad.
There are nearly 50,000 more eligible emigrant voters for this
election because it was recently established that many Croats who
emigrated to Canada and Australia many decades ago were not
registered as eligible, Ruza Simunec of the justice ministry told
Hina.
