ZAGREB, Nov 11 (Hina) - Interior Ministry spokeswoman Zinka Bardic refuted on Tuesday a news item Hina released yesterday to the effect that Split-Dalmatia County police spokeswoman Tina Disopra had said that police had no information
that Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidates had had anything other than eggs thrown at them at a rally in Imotski on Sunday.

refuted on Tuesday a news item Hina released yesterday to the effect
that Split-Dalmatia County police spokeswoman Tina Disopra had
said that police had no information that Social Democratic Party
(SDP) candidates had had anything other than eggs thrown at them at
a rally in Imotski on Sunday. #L#
In Monday's official request for a correction of said news item,
Bardic said that Disopra referred a Hina journalist who had asked
about new information about the incident to the police statement
issued on Sunday. Disopra "did not make any comment or further
statement on the incident," Bardic said.
