CANJUGA PRESENTS HND CANDIDATES FOR CONSTITUENCY NO. 1

ZAGREB, Nov 10 (Hina) - The president of Croatian Independent Democrats (HND), Zlatko Canjuga, on Monday presented HND candidates for constituency no. 1 and the party platform which focuses on free and economically independent man. #L# Free, satisfied and employed man freed from the myths of the past must be in the interest of the state, Canjuga told a news conference, adding that politics must focus on a man and put the state into his service. Canjuga criticised Croatian bishops for calling on voters not to give their votes to those who promote same-sex relationships. He said the HND advocated the legalisation of prostitution and the nationalisation of the so-called tycoon property. Speaking about current events, the HND leader commented on Sunday's incident in Imotski where a man threw eggs at Social Democratic Party leaders. Canjuga accused Croatian Democratic Union leader Ivo Sanader of inflammatory speech, stating that Sanader recently said in Imotski that candidates from another party came to destroy Dalmatia. Canjuga called on the inhabitants of Dalmatia not to allow themselves to get dragged into the radical right. (hina) it sb
