ZAGREB, Nov 10 (Hina) - The second phase of the demilitarisation of the southern border between Croatia and Serbia-Montenegro is underway in compliance with an operative plan of the protocol which Croatia and Serbia-Montenegro
concluded on the temporary regime along the southern border, the Croatian defence ministry reported on Monday.
ZAGREB, Nov 10 (Hina) - The second phase of the demilitarisation of
the southern border between Croatia and Serbia-Montenegro is
underway in compliance with an operative plan of the protocol which
Croatia and Serbia-Montenegro concluded on the temporary regime
along the southern border, the Croatian defence ministry reported
on Monday. #L#
According to a press release the ministry issued, the
demilitarisation includes the change of the purpose or the
destruction of facilities on the ground such as concrete dugouts,
or ditches and the removal of explosive devices.
The process of demilitarisation will be supervised by joint teams
of inspectors of the Croatian army and the army from the
neighbouring country from 10 to 13 November.
