The parliament of Flandria was the last to ratify the SAA. The
agreement was ratified on Wednesday. The formal procedure should be
completed by the end of the year, Croatian diplomatic sources in
Brussels said.
The SAA between Croatia and the EU has so far been ratified by ten
countries -- Austria, Denmark, France, Greece, Ireland,
Luxembourg, Germany, Spain, Sweden and Portugal. The agreement is
in the ratification process in Italy and Finland. The process has
been frozen in Great Britain and the Netherlands because the two
countries are dissatisfied with cooperation between the
authorities in Zagreb and the Hague war crimes tribunal.
