According to the head of the government's office for missing and
detained persons, Lt. Ivan Grujic, the remains belong to people
killed in 1991 and "at least two victims were Croatian soldiers".
Grujic said on Wednesday this was the 138th mass grave discovered in
Croatia so far. A total of 3,411 victims killed by the Serb
aggressor have been exhumed so far. Of this number, 2,842 persons
have been identified.
In Vukovar-Srijem County, 1,928 persons have been exhumed, of whom
1,616 were identified. Another 1,246 persons are still registered
as missing, of whom 568 are from Vukovar-Srijem County.
