ZAGREB, Oct 20 (Hina) - The Croatian Press Centre for the Environment, which operates as a part of the Skopje-based Regional Press Centre for Southeast Europe (REPC), was presented in Zagreb on Monday by the non-governmental
ecological organisation Osjecki Zeleni.

Three months ago, this NGO from the eastern Croatian city of Osijek
took over the role of resource point for the establishment and
development of said press centre in Croatia.
Osjecki Zeleni assumed this obligation after the national group of
journalists, covering environmental protection issues in Croatia,
failed to become the resource point, said Irena Brnada, the REPC
representative in Croatia.
The funds for the project have been secured by the Dutch embassy in
Croatia.
