"The position of Carla Del Ponte was influenced by the talks in
Croatia, at which we confronted our information," Picula told Hina
in the southern coastal city of Split.
The minister noted that the report "is not free of criticism", but
that Del Ponte agreed that "cooperation is improving."
"The report provides a favourable basis for (European Union) member
countries to consider ratifying Croatia's association agreement
with the EU," Picula said.
